Carry Permits means Cops will shoot you...

The Chicago Police Thug-in-Chief, I mean Superintendent Garry McCarthy, said that more carry permits will lead to more of his henchmen killing innocent "civilians". I didn't know he was on the battlefield.....

Read the article from Guns N Freedom HERE.

To his credit he did say it is not good when police shoot someone who is no threat to them. BUT he did not say if those cops should be punished for their actions. In fact I bet money that he would protect them with all the same lines we hear in our cities. "The suspect reached for something in his waistband." "The officers feared for their lives." and blah blah blah.

Let's not forget why McCarthy feels this way. He thinks it's because the police are trained to shoot first and ask questions later. Of course that is a paraphrase but that's what he should have said. He actually says the following:

“You put more guns on the street expect more shootings,” McCarthy said. “I don’t care if they’re licensed legal firearms, people who are not highly trained… putting guns in their hands is a recipe for disaster. So I’ll train our officers that there is a concealed carry law, but when somebody turns with a firearm in their hand the officer does not have an obligation to wait to get shot to return fire and we’re going to have tragedies as a result of that. I’m telling you right up front.”

If I were ever to be a sheriff or hold a similar oversight position, my standard for treating situations involving a LEO shooting an innocent would be If I had done that as a private citizen in that same circumstance, would I go to jail?

By and large the answer would be yes. Private citizens just can't get away with shooting someone because they reached for something.

I am tired of being talked to like a subject that has to rely on police to "protect" me. They wonder why there is a us vs. them mentality. This is why; because there is no law of the land. At any one time we are breaking a law. It was by design too. To make their job easier and us less free. Mark my words, just wait until one of those cops in Chicago pulls his gun on the wrong guy - the one who refuses to be threatened with government sanctioned violence.

Be prepared at all times.
