In my home state, there are calls to do more to protect citizens from cops like this guy. In 2011, the State Legislature passed a bill that protected concealed carry permit holders from inadvertent, non-threatening exposure of their firearm. For example, you're carrying outside-the-waistband but have a cover garment like a sports coat or jacket. The wind blows your coat open and your firearm is exposed for all to see. In Florida, you have committed no crime. It was simply an accident and chalked-up as an accident. No harm, no foul.
Well, for the man in this article, it might as well have been attempted murder of a police officer. The cop actually threatens to shoot him in the back. What a tough guy.

More needs to be done to reign-in these cops. More has to be done for the sake of our liberty.
